CONDUCTING RISK ASSESSMENTS
A risk assessment is central to safety management and an absolute legislative requirement. RIG Safety is able to conduct all necessary assessments including general workplace, COSHH, DSE, manual handling, fire and work equipment. Our experienced consultants will ensure that assessments are specific to your needs and in line with current legislation and best practices. When necessary, work plans will be drafted to ensure that any gaps are identified and recommendations made.
ON-SITE CONSULTANCY & INSPECTIONS
This is an on-site advice and support service, which includes looking at method statements, methods of work, access and appropriate equipment selection. We can provide on-the-spot solutions for real site problems and safety concerns with our experienced consultants.
A full site inspection is essential for ensuring operatives are currently working safely at height, and providing an all over health check to give you the opportunity to address any working or management issues, along with HSE support either before or after a visit.
A site audit gives us the opportunity to identify any areas that are unsafe where operatives are required to work at height, and areas that require further attention, action or general improvement.
We can provide friendly technical support for all levels whether you have a specific problem or if you would just like an independent view. For professional, accurate and realistic safety advice we are here to help. We will leave an inspection report with the company supervisor and produce a site inspection Power Point presentation for the elected head office.

ON-SITE TOOLBOX TALKS
Based on our specialist observations, customer recommendations and feedback, we can carry out “on-site toolbox talks”; we don’t leave until we are sure you are completely happy with the solutions and training provided while we are there.
We also provide additional formal documentation listing the training we have covered and the delegates who participated, which is handed to your site contact. A copy of this documentation is also sent to an elected head office contact for their records.

COMPETENT PERSON EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS
Where your organisation utilise PPE safety equipment that fall under Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), we can inspect equipment at your location by arrangement. We can provide the minimum of disruption while maintaining top quality safety standards with a thorough equipment check. All equipment that passes our formal inspection and is suitable for its allocated purpose will receive official inspection tagging detailing the equipment has been inspected by RIG Systems.
Formal inspections need to be carried out on all equipment every six months. We include official documentation of the inspected items including serial numbers for your site contact along with a further list of all equipment that did not pass the inspection and is not suitable for use. A copy of these lists will then be sent to the elected head office contact for their records.
Where equipment is required to be replaced, RIG Systems can provide either a framework agreement for provision of equipment or a competitive quote for supply.
